Title: Cloud Engineer

Digital Placement is a staffing and recruiting company operating in the IT industry. We specialize in providing top-notch talent for various technology roles.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Implementing GitOps, DevOps, and ChatOps principles and best practices.
Utilizing various AWS managed services, including but not limited to EKS, ECR, RDS, KMS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, Route 53, ALB, ELB, Dynamo DB, EC2, S3, SNS, SQS, EBS, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, network access control list, and security groups.
Working with Kubernetes (EKS preferred), Helm, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Understanding and utilizing Azure AD for Identity and Access Management.
Implementing Security Event and Incident Management (SEIM) using industry-standard practices.
Implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CICD) concepts and supporting commercial and open-source tooling like Jenkins, Jfrog Artifactory & Xray, SonarQube, Harness, Spinnaker, and ArgoCD.

Candidate Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who possess:

A strong understanding of GitOps, DevOps, and ChatOps principles and best practices.
Hands-on experience with various AWS managed services, Kubernetes (with preference to EKS), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Familiarity with Identity and Access Management using Azure AD.
Experience with Security Event and Incident Management (SEIM) systems.
Proficiency in implementing CICD concepts with relevant commercial and open-source tools like Jenkins, Jfrog Artifactory & Xray, SonarQube, Harness, Spinnaker, and ArgoCD.
