We're looking for a strategic Manager, Talent Acquisition to oversee a team of world-class recruiting functions for DigitalOcean. With 1,300+ employees located across the globe, including Pakistan, India, Mexico, Canada, US and Europe, the ideal candidate will have global experience that includes a data-driven approach to identifying the top talent in niche markets. You will create and implement the strategy for talent acquisition, focusing on employer branding, candidate and hiring manager experience, interviewer training, diversity hiring, early talent pipeline, hiring metrics, sourcing strategies, and more. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, you and your team will recruit and hire experts and high-potential professionals with go-to-market expertise and a deep understanding of the developer community.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of recruiters and recruiting operations coordinator to ensure the successful execution of talent acquisition strategies.
  • Partner with DO’s People team, senior leaders, hiring managers, and business units to understand staffing needs and create tailored recruitment plans.
  • Drive the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, universities, and other talent sources.
  • Utilize data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruiting strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage the implementation of recruitment technologies and platforms to streamline the recruiting process and enhance candidate experience.
  • Ensure the recruitment process aligns with company values, compliance standards, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on recruiting performance and goals (e.g., time to fill, offer acceptance rate, rejection reasons etc.)
  • Stay up to date on market trends, industry best practices, and emerging talent acquisition tools.

  • Outstanding communications, negotiations and relationship skills
  • Comfort operating at every level of the organization, including executive interaction, team leadership, and peer-to-peer relationship-building
  • Ability to adapt, invent and create in a fast paced high performing agile environment
  • Knowledgeable of global employment law and equal employment guidelines and policies
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Knowledge of Workday (HRIS) and Greenhouse (ATS) preferred

  • We reward our employees. The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $155,000 based on market data, relevant years of experience, and skills. You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees, including equity grants upon hire and the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
