Job description

The Opportunity:

As an Account Manager at DataGrail, you will own the customer journey from onboarding through renewal, and long-term success, ensuring our customers achieve their business objectives while maximizing the value of our platform. You will be responsible for guiding strategic implementations, building strong customer relationships, and proactively identifying opportunities to drive adoption and expansion. This role blends project management, customer success, and consultative account growth in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

This role is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of DataGrail’s customer success evolution, helping our customers navigate the complex privacy landscape while driving long-term growth and retention.

The Skill Set:
  • Own the End-to-End Customer Journey – From initial onboarding through ongoing success, ensure a seamless customer experience that delivers long-term value.
  • Lead Strategic Implementations – Manage customer onboarding projects, coordinating resources, schedules, and risks to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Drive Adoption & Value Realization – Educate customers on privacy best practices and ensure they are maximizing their use of the platform.
  • Build Trusted Relationships – Act as a strategic advisor to key customer stakeholders, including executives, to drive engagement and retention.
  • Proactively Identify and Solve Challenges – Monitor customer health, mitigate risks early, and implement tailored action plans.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Work with Sales, Product, and Support teams to enhance the customer experience and drive expansion opportunities.
  • Optimize and Scale Processes – Contribute to internal initiatives that improve customer success workflows, onboarding velocity, and overall efficiency.
What You Bring
  • Experience in customer success, account management, and/or onboarding project management in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to track key metrics and drive continuous improvement.
  • A passion for customer success, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
Within 90 Days You'll:
  • Lead your first customer onboarding project, ensuring strategic alignment and smooth execution.
  • Develop a deep understanding of DataGrail’s products, services, and value propositions.
  • Build relationships with your customers and internal teams, establishing yourself as a key point of contact.
  • Identify initial opportunities for process improvements and customer engagement strategies.
Within 180 Days You'll:
  • Manage a dynamic portfolio of accounts, delivering measurable customer value and high satisfaction.
  • Provide thought leadership on privacy frameworks and regulatory changes, advising customers on best practices.
  • Identify expansion opportunities and collaborate with Sales to drive additional revenue.
  • Take ownership of a department-level initiative to improve efficiency, scalability, and/or customer impact.
Within 365 Days You'll:
  • Establish yourself as a strategic partner to your customers, ensuring they continue to derive value from DataGrail.
  • Influence internal product and process improvements through data-driven insights from customer interactions.
  • Drive long-term retention and growth by fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless renewals.
  • Be a key contributor to the evolution of DataGrail’s customer success strategy, helping scale the function for future growth.

 

The OTE compensation (salary + variable) range below is a guideline and the final compensation will be based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies. Our compensation ranges apply to all US-based job postings regardless of state.
