Responsibilities
We are seeking an ambitious hands-on Controller to oversee Lumenalta's financial health, reporting directly to Lumenalta's CFO. Must have experience in the professional services industry.
Day-to-day Responsibilities
Planning, directing, and coordinating day-to-day accounting functions.
Managing the month-end close process and preparing financial statements that are issued timely and in accordance with GAAP.
Providing management with accurate and comprehensive information vital to the decision-making process.
Managing the budget and cash flow forecasting process.
Developing and monitoring business performance metrics.
Overseeing regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.
Evaluating and monitoring company policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate internal controls.
Hiring, training, and retaining skilled accounting staff.
Requirements
7+ years of previous experience in a similar role
Post-secondary degree in accounting, finance, or business. A Master's degree is preferred
Advanced experience using QuickBooks and being able to handle multiple entities
International financial accounting experience
Experience with multiple-state reporting
Experience working with regulatory compliance
Exemplary attention to detail
Strong communication skills

The position will be 100% remote in EST
