We are looking for a dedicated Data Engineering Engineer to join our team, to develop and optimize enterprise-scale dashboards and datasets using Tableau, Power BI, and SQL while supporting reporting initiatives and data management across Engineering.

What you will be doing:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineering Engineer to join our team. This role will collaborate with our Data Analyst to support reporting initiatives across Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing dashboards and datasets using Tableau and Power BI while leveraging SQL and ETL tools to create scalable and efficient data solutions. Your responsibilities include:

Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and datasets on an Enterprise Tableau Server.
Build and manage dashboards in Power BI, as needed.
Write and optimize enterprise-scale SQL queries to support reporting and data analysis needs.
Utilize ETL tools such as Informatica Power Center, Tableau Prep, or Power Query to prepare and transform data.
Work with enterprise data warehouses and multiple database environments, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
Conduct extensive data analysis and discovery work to support business objectives.
Participate in agile workflows, including daily stand-ups and weekly sprint cadences, to prioritize and deliver on backlog tasks.

Requirements & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Strong experience in Tableau dashboard development and management.
Proficiency in SQL (MS SQL, Postgres, MySQL) including query writing and optimization.
Moderate knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, Tableau Prep, or Power Query.
Solid understanding of data warehouse querying and star schema design (PowerBI).
Experience in Power BI dashboard development and management.
Experience working across multiple database environments.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to uncover insights and translate them into actionable visualizations.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and sprint-based development

Nice to have:

Familiarity with enterprise data warehouse technologies such as Oracle, AWS Athena, or Snowflake.
