Job description

Eleks Compensation & Benefits is looking for Compensation and Benefits Specialist in Ukraine.

The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will be responsible for the administration and management of the organization's compensation and benefits programs. This role requires a deep understanding of compensation structures, benefits offerings, and regulatory compliance to ensure that the company remains competitive in attracting and retaining talent.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in compensation and benefits administration, preferably in the IT services sector
  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices, benefits administration, and relevant employment laws. Knowledge of Ukrainian Labor Legislation
  • Strong user in HRIS and compensation management software (e.g., Workday, ADP)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Intermediate level of English
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in multicultural, diverse environment; ability to define priorities in conflict situations

  • RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support regular payroll, including remuneration, leave administration, C2C calculation requests
  • Address payroll-related queries regarding official employment, taxation, legislation, and contributions
  • Prepare, organize, and process various documents (e.g., income certificates, loan-related documents, bank documentation).
  • Assist with official employment-related issues
  • Collaborate with accountants for documentation processing, payments, and compliance assurance
  • Handle payroll corrections, termination processing, payslip requests, and year-end tax declarations
  • Research and support international employment processes, including maternity leave, social leave, and additional benefits
  • Create and maintain national holiday and payroll calendars
  • Support remuneration and bonuses administration requests
  • Facilitate the preparation, organization, and signing of employment agreements and contracts in case of compensation or job title changes
  • Prepare compensation reports, accrual adjustments, bonuses, and branch adjustments
  • Validate monthly bonuses as per established rules, resolving discrepancies with managers, CPO, and CEnO
  • Collaborate with the Payroll Accountant to ensure accurate calculation and processing of compensation
  • Enroll employees in benefit programs and coordinate monthly healthcare allowance accruals
  • Ensure insurance coverage for employees, manage deductions for family members, and handle corrections and tax compliance
  • Maintain insurance transactions in 1C, create programs, and link them to employees for accurate monthly processing
  • Manage PTO balances in 1C according to employment agreements
  • Maintain and update records in Jira and HRMS systems, ensuring accurate data management
  • Assist in developing, documenting, and updating compensation and benefits policies and procedures
  • Provide feedback to enhance policies for improved compliance and efficiency
  • Maintain and update organizational structures within HR systems
  • Ensure alignment between organizational changes and compensation structures
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of time tracking and leave management processes
  • Ensure accurate reporting of working hours and leave balances
  • Assist in developing, documenting, and updating compensation and benefits policies and procedures
  • Provide input and feedback to enhance policies for improved compliance and efficiency.
