As our Staff Product Designer, you will help build out a brand-new product for R1 from 0-1. Every day you will partner closely with Product and Engineering partners to research, build, test and validate your designs. To thrive in this role, you must be comfortable working in ambiguity, have strong storytelling and communication skills and enjoy high ownership in your role.
Here’s what you will experience working as a Staff Product Designer:
Craft enterprise workflows and interface solutions with a human-centric approach.
Demonstrate sharp business acumen and savviness to influence, negotiate and communicate ideas, data and thoughts appropriately at every level to create harmony and increase productivity across teams
Self-organize and work independently with minimal direction, while collaborating within an Agile team environment
Collaborate and partner closely with Operations, Product Managers and Engineers, and Product Design team members to create efficient workflows, intuitive interface solutions and facilitate design research
Advocate and assert design concepts and ideas throughout the organization with confidence and promote a persuasive design perspective in company-wide discussions
Required Skills:
Expert Figma skills
6+ years of demonstrated product design experience for complex workflow tools, SaaS or Healthcare products
Portfolio of work examples and detailed case studies that demonstrates the span of the design process
Experience designing and shipping products from 0 to 1
Excellent communication and high emotional intelligence, with the ability to build positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
Demonstrated effective presentation skills in research report outs and convincingly articulate design decisions.
