The Site Payment Reconciliation Analyst I is essential in maintaining financial accuracy and compliance within clinical trial operations. This role is responsible for performing comprehensive reconciliations of site payments, ensuring alignment between clinical data, financial records, and the Oracle Finance System. The position plays a key part in preserving the integrity of payment processes throughout the clinical study lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular and methodical reconciliations of site payments, cross-referencing clinical data, financial records, and contractual agreements.

  • Support the implementation of quarterly reconciliation processes to identify and address discrepancies proactively.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Operations, Finance, and Data Management, to resolve payment inconsistencies.

  • Learn and apply reconciliation tools and techniques to enhance process efficiency.

  • Assist in analyzing reconciliation data to recognize patterns, potential risks, and areas for process improvement.

  • Help prepare detailed reconciliation reports and contribute to presentations for stakeholders, including suggestions for corrective measures.

  • Adhere to financial regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures related to site payments.

  • Support the development and refinement of reconciliation methodologies and best practices.

  • Participate in the transition and mapping of studies from legacy systems to new payment platforms under supervision.

  • Contribute ideas for the continuous improvement of reconciliation processes, including the adoption of new technologies and automation where appropriate.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

  • 0-2 years of experience in financial reconciliation, preferably in a clinical research setting

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial systems

  • Basic understanding of clinical trial processes

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
