Job description

Our Summer Internship Program puts you in the heart of one of the most strategic companies in the world. You will partner with multiple team members, collaborate with different departments, focus on specific projects, which you will support and even lead. Our Program runs for approximately 13 weeks from the end of May to mid-August. Internships are paid and available for those seeking remote, hybrid, and onsite opportunities.

In this Role: 

The Payzer Service and Operations Assistant Program Manager will assist in the management of cross-functional initiatives and support leadership with essential business processes. This role requires a highly organized and proactive professional who can operate across service, operations, and other key business functions to assist in the streamlining of workflows, the enhancement of productivity, and the execution of strategic initiatives.

What you will be doing:   

Operational Support & Process Optimization:

  • Assist with critical operational and administrative tasks.

  • Collaborate in the development and refinement of PowerPoint presentations, reports, and other key materials to support leadership initiatives.

  • Help identify opportunities to enhance workflows and improve team productivity across sales and operations.

Project & Program Management:

  • Lead and manage lower-level projects that support service and operational goals, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business priorities.

  • Track progress on initiatives, manage deadlines, and develop communication updates to key stakeholders.

  • Establish and implement best practices for project tracking and process optimization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Co-facilitate communication and alignment between departments to drive efficiency and improve business outcomes.

  • Support leadership in executing cross-functional initiatives that enhance overall organizational effectiveness.

Technology & Reporting:

  • Utilize and optimize business tools to support service and operations workflows.

  • Assist in the development of key reports and presentations that provide insights into team performance and strategic priorities.

  • Help ensure all initiatives are tracked, measured, and refined for continuous improvement.

Must have for this role: 

  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree

  • 2 years completed in a particular degree or program

  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a proactive mindset.

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and other reporting tools.

  • Experience in project coordination, operations support, or sales enablement.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across multiple teams.

  • Ability to identify process improvements and drive operational efficiencies.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
