The Senior Manager, Global Trade is primarily responsible for interpreting, executing, and establishing global trade policies and processes.  They will ensure consistency of customs practices and guidance to sites importing across the Mission Systems strategic business unit world-wide.  Individual will be encouraged to take on leadership opportunities within the Customs discipline across Collins.

This role will be performed REMOTE from any Collins Aerospace location either domestic or remote.

What YOU Will Do:

  • Builds strong and extensive working relationships and networks internally and externally
  • Assist with strategic program management of customs initiatives across the business unit’s global sites ensuring alignment with Collins Aerospace policies and practices
  • Support and drive customs processes and practices, including but not limited to Reconciliation, Valuation methodologies
  • CTPAT oversight for Mission Systems sites and alignment with other global trusted trader programs
  • Support day-to-day tactical import and AES transactions, including but not limited to troubleshooting clearance delays and supporting post-entry and AES audit activities
  • Perform analysis on data metrics to strategically address customs trends, tariff impact and duty mitigation programs
  • Identify and respond to program opportunities and lead the development of solutions
  • Daily business problem solving
  • Drive collection of import data and analysis for monthly Dashboard metrics

  • The Senior Manager should have an understanding of and past involvement with trade remedies and US duty mitigation programs (AD/CVD, FTA, Reconciliation, CH98, ITAR, 301 Duties).
  • The successful candidate will have experience with importer entry data research and communications with customs brokers

  • Licensed Customs broker
  • Program and project management skills and experience are preferred
  • 8+ years’ experience with imports, preferably in the aerospace industry
  • Experience with SAP/GTS or other ERP application
  • Experience with EMEA regional and national regulations on Customs

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
