The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Team:

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager for Workforce Planning to lead the strategy, development, and optimization of our HR workforce planning and analytics capabilities within Workday Adaptive Planning. This role will collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to drive scenario modeling, system enhancements, change controls, and end-user engagement while ensuring the platform supports strategic workforce planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting needs.

What You Will Do

Product Strategy & System Optimization
• Develop and execute the strategy and roadmap for Workday Adaptive Planning as it relates to HR workforce planning and analytics.
• Identify and implement enhancements to Adaptive Planning’s HR-related models, dashboards, and forecasting processes.
• Oversee scenario modeling capabilities to support workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and organizational changes.
• Ensure data integrity and seamless integration between Workday Adaptive Planning and other HR and Finance systems.

Change Control & Governance
• Establish and manage a change control process to ensure updates and enhancements are evaluated, tested, and implemented effectively.
• Work with IT and business stakeholders to ensure system updates, enhancements, and configurations align with organizational goals.
• Maintain compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements.

End-User Engagement & Training
• Partner with HR and Finance teams to understand business needs and ensure effective adoption of Adaptive Planning capabilities.
• Develop and deliver training programs, documentation, and support materials for HR and business users.
• Act as the primary point of contact for user questions, troubleshooting, and system-related guidance.

Reporting & Analytics
• Design and refine workforce planning dashboards, reports, and forecasting models to support data-driven HR decision-making.
• Ensure HR leaders have the tools and insights needed for operational and strategic headcount planning, and workforce scenario analysis.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR analytics, workforce planning, or financial planning, with a focus on Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Previous experience in Workday Adaptive Planning, including model building, scenario modeling, dashboard creation, and data integration.
  • Previous experience in workforce planning, headcount forecasting, compensation planning, and HR analytics.
  • Previous experience driving end-user engagement, training, and adoption strategies for HR technology solutions.
  • U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Granted Refugee or Asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
  • Typically requires a University Degree in Business, Finance, HR, Data Analytics, or a related field.(or equivalent experience) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.

  • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Workday Adaptive Planning certification
  • Experience with system change control, governance, and compliance
  • Knowledge of Workday HCM, financial planning, and reporting along with prior experience leading HR technology implementations and integrations

Please consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role:
Remote: This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
