Job description

This is a remote position.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7AM-4PM UK Time with 1-hour unpaid break

Responsibilities:

Perform daily bank reconciliations using Xero software
Track and manage outstanding financial items
Scan and check invoices using tools like Hubdoc or Receipt Bank
Prepare comprehensive lists of unpaid vendors
Compile payment lists for client approval
Conduct daily handover calls with UK team members
Manage bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients, with a focus on one primary client

Requirements

Proven experience with Xero accounting software
Strong mathematical skills and understanding of accounting principles
Familiarity with document management tools like Hubdoc or Receipt Bank
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Experience with UK-based businesses and accounting practices (preferred)
Experience working with an accountancy practice (preferred)
