ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a tech-savvy and skilled Pre-Sales Consultant (German Speaking) to support our expansion into the DACH region. This role is a key contributor to complex sales processes, working closely with prospective clients to ensure our software, ABACUS meets their challenges and requirements.

As part of our first team in the region, you will play a crucial role in shaping Avolution’s presence, working alongside the Sales and Services teams to drive customer engagement and adoption. The ideal candidate will be technically proficient, an excellent communicator, and comfortable simplifying complex topics to highlight the business value of our solution.

Full product training will be provided, but you should have a strong understanding of the Enterprise Architecture, SaaS, Business Intelligence, Business Modelling, and IT Strategy software markets.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical expert for the company in the DACH region, representing Avolution at conferences, trade shows, and marketing events.
  • Support the Sales Team with deep product expertise, conducting in-depth product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and responding to RFPs
  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their technical and business challenges and position ABACUS as the ideal solution
  • Identify patterns in customer interactions to create new content, influence product development, and reinforce marketing messaging
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for prospects, ensuring their product questions and concerns are addressed throughout the sales cycle
  • Work closely with the Support Team to create user accounts and manage trial licenses for potential customers
  • Provide feedback to the Product Team based on client needs and feature requests
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and services teams to enhance lead conversion and customer adoption in the CRM system, tracking sales progress and client interactions

ABOUT YOU

  • Fluent in German (native or near-native level) and highly proficient in English
  • Experience in a Pre-Sales role, ideally within an Enterprise, Business Intelligence, or SaaS software environment
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and translate them into compelling business value propositions
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to engage with both technical and business stakeholders
  • A passion for great customer service and goal-oriented relationship-building
  • Highly motivated, flexible, and adaptable, comfortable working independently and within cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events
  • Experience working in the DACH market is highly desirable
