Job description

Rockstar is recruiting for a foundation dedicated to growing and supporting a community that builds, innovates, and maintains public infrastructure for the Internet and financial system. As the Business Operations Coordinator, the candidate will engage in a variety of tasks, from data entry and grant operations to system maintenance and financial management. Ideal candidates will have experience in operations, strong organizational skills, and a knack for meticulous data handling. Their contributions will directly enhance operational efficiency and help drive the mission forward.

Job Responsibilities:

- Data Entry: Accurately enter contact information and other relevant data into database systems.

- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process bills for payment and manage incoming payments.

- Billing Information Collection: Collect and verify billing information, adhering to KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYB (Know Your Business) standards.

- Cryptocurrency Transaction Tracking: Use block explorers to monitor and track cryptocurrency transactions.

- Grant Payment Coordination: Assist in cueing up payments according to project milestones, ensuring timely and accurate financial management.

- Fixed Asset Schedules: Build and maintain inventory detail of company assets.

- Documentation: Develop and maintain essential documentation such as flow charts, operational playbooks, and training materials to streamline processes.

- Grants Operations: Handle the administrative aspects of grant management, including preparing agreements, obtaining necessary signatures, conducting follow-up communications, and maintaining clean data records.

- Fluxx Platform Support: Provide support and troubleshoot issues within the Fluxx grants management system.

- System Maintenance: Perform regular updates in systems, including adding milestones and other critical data points.

- Ad Hoc: Other business operations or grant operations tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years proven experience in financial operations, administrative support, or a similar role.

- Proficiency in database management and data entry.

- Familiarity with grants management and financial processes is highly preferred.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with Fluxx or similar grant management software is a plus.

- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- Experience with Airtable.

- Familiarity with banking operations and AR/AP processes.

- Experience using block explorers to track cryptocurrency transactions.

- Bonus: Interest or experience with crypto products.
