Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role in a healthcare or dental clinic setting. 
  • Familiarity with dental or medical insurance claims processes and online insurance portals. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly for professional interactions with insurers and patients. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant administrative software. 
  • Familiarity with Ringcentral.

Core responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties including managing appointments, patient records, and clinic-related documentation. 
  • Insurance Claim Lodgement: Submit and lodge dental insurance claims through various online portals and ensure accurate entry of all relevant information. 
  • Follow-up on Claims: Contact insurance companies to follow up on pending or disputed claims, ensuring timely resolution of issues. 
  • Communications with Insurers: Call insurance companies to clarify claim statuses, address discrepancies, and gather necessary information to support the claim process. 
  • Patient Assistance: Communicate with patients as needed to clarify insurance-related questions, assist with claims processing, and provide updates on claim statuses. 
  • Document Management: Maintain organized records of all submitted claims, communications with insurers, and any other relevant documentation.
