Job description

This is a remote position.

MLC Studio is on the lookout for a Producer who thrives in interpersonal skills, independent problem solving and quick execution. This role is a 7-month contract position starting as early as April. This role is only available to applicants residing in the UK.

We believe in strong ownership over outcomes and empowering game developers by giving them access to the happiest talent in the industry. MLC Studio is built on long-term team loyalty, flexible collaboration, and a commitment to productivity.

We work with indie to AAA game studios that need agile, talented, and genuinely passionate teams to get their projects across the finish line. That’s where you come in. If you love the games industry, get fulfillment from game art projects and love indie games, we’d be honored to have you on board.

What’s the Gig?
  • Project Management - Oversee the day-to-day operations of 3-10 game projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Problem Solving - Anticipate challenges, identify risks, and resolve issues before they become roadblocks.
  • Team Coordination - Collaborate with developers, designers, artists, and other departments to facilitate smooth communication and ensure project milestones are met.
  • Client Relationship Management - Maintain clear communication with clients, balancing timelines, quality, and expectations. Build strong, ongoing relationships and recognize opportunities to offer additional services.
  • Account Management - Source freelancer quotes, draft contracts, and maintain client accounts.
  • Continuous Learning & Optimisation - Stay up to date on talent availability, track team performance, and refine our production pipelines for efficiency and quality.

We’re Looking For
  • A deep understanding of game production processes and the ability to collaborate across technical and creative teams.
  • Attention to detail and adaptability. You’re analytical, persistent, and always fine-tuning your approach.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Notion) and version control systems.
  • A natural communicator who can keep teams aligned and clients happy.
  • An ability to juggle multiple differing stakeholder interests.
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Self-motivation. You thrive in a flexible work environment and don’t need someone hovering over your shoulder.
  • A passion for game art & development - because you’ll be working with some of the best!

Requirements
  • Games industry production experience (2+ years).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Discord.
  • Based in the UK.
