This is a remote position.

A leading UK IT Solutions and Service Provider is seeking a Junior Cloud Security Engineer to join their professional services team. The company delivers Microsoft Cloud solutions to the UK public sector, focusing on mid to large enterprises. Roles & Responsibilities

The technical delivery of solutions across the Azure and M365 space.
Execute, manage, lead, and all round assist customers through solution implementation, onboarding and support.
Implementation of infrastructure and cloud solutions across Defender, Sentinel, Intune and Azure Cloud.
Attend customer meetings when required.
Assist the Service Desk for call escalation and 3rd line support when necessary.
Working closely with clients to support product delivery.
Occasionally traveling to client site for deployment and implementation.

Requirements

Working knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Exchange, Intune, Entra and Azure.

A background in security operations with a knowledge of engineering across project delivery.

On-prem to on-prem, and on-prem to cloud migration skills.

Strong understanding of Networking, Security and VPN’s.

Experience working with customers and communicating effectively with relevant departments.
