As a Podcast Production Intern at Lead at Any Level, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of podcast production and content creation. You will work closely with the Podcast Production Manager and Assistant to support the end-to-end production of the company's podcast, "Including You." This internship is designed to provide you with valuable skills and insights that can help launch your career in the media or communications industry.
12-week internship, up to 10 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the coordination and scheduling of podcast recordings, including guest bookings and equipment setup
Operate audio and video recording equipment during podcast recordings, ensuring high-quality capture
Perform basic audio and video editing tasks, such as trimming, mixing, and applying sound effects
Help with the upload and publication of podcast episodes to the company's hosting platform
Collaborate with the marketing team to prepare podcast-related assets, such as episode descriptions and social media graphics
Monitor podcast analytics and provide performance data to the Podcast Production team
Identify and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the production process
Maintain a well-organized podcast asset library and production documentation
Expected Outcomes
Gain practical experience in podcast production, including recording, editing, and distribution
Develop a strong understanding of the podcast production workflow and best practices
Contribute to the overall quality and efficiency of the podcast production process
