ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are seeking a highly-motivated Marketing Coordinator with a passion for film to join our team in Argentina. You will be an integral part of a small, dedicated team working to build awareness and fuel subscriber growth in Argentina through partnerships, paid and organic social media, content-driven campaigns, and brand marketing. This role will report to the Senior Marketing Manager.

This role will be based out of our Buenos Aires offices and requires 2 days per week on-site.

You will focus on:
  • Assist with executing promotions aimed to maximize subscriber acquisition and increase brand exposure in Argentina, including wide-reaching email campaigns, outreach activities, and more

  • Support team with planning, execution, and management of a range of partnerships including film institutions, festivals, arts organizations, and supported devices/platforms

  • Support LATAM social media channels and support global digital team with social management and community interaction; learn and adapt the identity and social voice of MUBI

  • Assist in the trafficking of high-performing assets for paid media campaigns and coordinate asset delivery across various partner relationships

  • Support local programming through designated initiatives aimed to promote and elevate MUBI’s curation and content

  • Analyze and evaluate activities to determine impact, applying actionable insights to continuously improve reach, engagement, and overall effectiveness

  • Work closely with in-house creative team on ideation and development of social media assets

  • Coordinate outreach to key partners to broaden the reach of our social media channels and marketing efforts

  • Draft copy for digital/social media ads and emails

What you will bring:
  • 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in marketing, media, or entertainment

  • Well versed knowledge in social media and brand. You are up-to-date on trends in the digital landscape and eager to expand knowledge in this area

  • A passionate for quality cinema, from classics to new releases 

  • Knowledge of the film industry landscape, including competitors and key publications 

  • Strong copywriting and communications skills 

  • Keen project management skills, ready to take ownership of working processes and find ways to improve them 

  • Diligence and be very detail orientated

  • The capability to managing competing deadlines 

  • A dedication to making every campaign the best it can be 

  • Skills in Photoshop and basic video editing skills (ideally experience with Adobe Premiere)

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • Fluent in Spanish and English
