About the role
The Scriptwriter is a key member of the project team, responsible for crafting compelling and effective scripts for a variety of learning solutions. The Scriptwriter partners with learning experience designers, creative directors, and clients to develop engaging narratives, dialogue, and scenarios that meet the client's training objectives. This individual embodies the SweetRush culture and contributes to delivering impactful learning experiences.

SweetRush is a remote organization, and as such, all resources must be technically savvy, have access to a strong internet signal, be comfortable with virtual/instant messaging and conferencing tools, and be generally available during established working hours.

You will be required to provide work/writing samples or a design portfolio.

Salary / Hourly Range (US only)
*Salary is negotiable

Responsibilities
Develop original scripts for various formats, including but not limited to:

• Video (e.g., teaser videos and explainer videos)
• E-learning modules
• Interactive experiences
• Presentations
• Audio (e.g., podcasts, radio ads)

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Scriptwriter or in a related role.
• Strong portfolio of work demonstrating writing skills and creativity.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to develop engaging narratives and compelling dialogue.
• Understanding of storytelling principles and dramatic structure.
• Ability to adapt writing style to different formats, audiences, and objectives.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., word processing software, scriptwriting software).

Preferred:

• Associate’s degree in English, Creative Writing, or a related field.
• Experience in a specific industry relevant to the role (e.g., education, technology, healthcare).
