Scriptwriter

We are seeking a talented and creative Remote Scriptwriter to join our growing marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to craft compelling and engaging scripts for various mediums.

Responsibilities:

Develop and write scripts for various marketing and communication materials, including:

Video scripts: Commercials, explainer videos, internal training videos, and social media videos.

Audio scripts: Radio ads, podcasts, and voiceovers.

Written scripts: Website copy, presentations, and other marketing materials.

Conduct research and gather information to support script development.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as marketing managers, designers, and videographers, to ensure script alignment with project goals and brand guidelines.

Revise and refine scripts based on feedback from stakeholders.

Adhere to brand voice and style guidelines while maintaining a creative and engaging tone.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in scriptwriting and storytelling.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Film, or a related field.

2+ years of professional experience as a scriptwriter, copywriter, or in a related role.

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Portfolio demonstrating strong writing and storytelling abilities.

US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience writing scripts for video production.

Experience with content management systems (CMS).

Experience with social media content creation.

Knowledge of basic video editing principles.
