Job description

About Us:

We provide expert virtual support to veterinary, optometry, and dental practices, helping streamline financial, HR, and administrative processes. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented Remote Financial Assistant to support our clients with essential financial and administrative tasks. This position is part-time to start and grow into a fulltime contract.

Responsibilities:(may include but not limited to)

🔹 Bookkeeping & Financial Support:

  • Assist in accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial records
  • Assist with payroll and financial reporting
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment tracking

🔹 Remote HR Assistance:

  • Support hiring processes, which may include job postings and candidate tracking
  • Assist with onboarding and employee record management
  • Maintain compliance with industry and HR regulations

🔹 Practice Management Assistance:

  • Oversee daily financial workflows and reporting
  • Support client billing and insurance claims processing
  • Assist with QuickBooks and other financial software
  • Coordinate with practice managers to optimize financial operations
Qualifications:

✔ Experience in bookkeeping, payroll, or financial assistance (preferably in veterinary, optometry, or dental industries)
✔ Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other financial software
✔ Strong understanding of HR processes and compliance
✔ Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
✔ Experience working remotely and managing financial tasks independently and with a team
✔ Strong communication skills
