Job description

Overview

Infillion is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to manage, coordinate and execute fundraising processes, manage investor relations, and spearhead acquisition and divestiture activities. This role takes day-to-day direction from the Founder / Executive Chairman. The Associate will be a key member of the Corporate Development team, supporting its mission to be a steward of capital for the organization, with a strong focus on AI-driven opportunities and strategies.

  • Location independent position
  • Preference given to candidates who can live in or commute to Puerto Rico
Compensation
  • Base: $100,000 to $150,000 
  • Bonus: up to 100% based on results and performance
  • Equity: very generous stock option package
Corporate Development Charter

Our Corporate Development team focuses on maximizing company value through strategic capital management, acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, and prudent capital allocation. We believe in protecting our core business, maintaining appropriate debt and liquidity levels, and pursuing acquisitions with strong risk-adjusted returns.

Responsibilities
  • Execute Infillion's corporate development strategy 
  • Coordinate and manage M&A processes from origination through integration
  • Drive fundraising efforts and develop capital raising strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with investors, including HNWI, family offices
  • Create and present investor materials and financial models
  • Support the Executive Chairman in strategic decision-making
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis
  • Evaluate strategic partnerships and investment opportunities
  • Manage due diligence processes
  • Manage data room materials and access
  • Develop and maintain active acquisition pipeline
  • Attend industry and networking
Investor Relations & Fundraising Focus
  • Serve as liaison between Infillion and its investor community
  • Plan and execute fundraising rounds from preparation to closing
  • Create compelling investment materials and financial projections
  • Organize and lead investor meetings and presentations
  • Manage relationships with private equity firms, venture capital, family offices, and HNWIs
  • Track investor communications and maintain meticulous records
  • Communicate company performance and milestones to investors
  • Coordinate quarterly investor communication, and annual planning
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in investment banking
  • Proven experience running successful fundraising efforts
  • Demonstrated track record in M&A origination and execution
  • Strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals and family offices
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Excellent financial modeling and valuation skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong negotiation and deal structuring capabilities
  • Experience in adtech a major plus but not required
  • Early adopter of AI technologies to improve efficiency

30-60-90 Day Plan

First 30 Days

  • Take ownership of and organize Infillion's current fundraising efforts
  • Update a comprehensive database of all investor contacts and their status
  • Assess current investor materials and identify improvements
  • Establish a clear fundraising communication and follow-up protocol

Days 31-60

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the ongoing fundraising process
  • Coordinate investor meetings and prepare management team for presentations
  • Implement improved tracking system for investor engagement
  • Develop target lists for additional potential investors to approach
  • Create standardized responses to common investor questions and due diligence requests

Days 61-90

  • Drive fundraising efforts to key milestones
  • Identify potential strategic partnerships to complement the fundraising efforts
  • Establish regular reporting cadence on fundraising progress to executive team
  • Analyze the effectiveness of current fundraising approach and recommend optimizations
