Network Design Engineer

Job Summary:

Staff4Me is looking for a passionate and experienced Network Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive network designs, managing complex projects, and implementing network solutions that meet our clients' needs. As a part of our dynamic team, you will utilize your expertise in technologies such as Aruba, Cisco, and Meraki, along with planning tools like Ekahau, to deliver high-quality and innovative network solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN setups.

2. Utilize Ekahau and other tools to plan and optimize Wi-Fi networks for maximum coverage and performance.

3. Produce detailed schematics and documentation for network designs and configurations.

4. Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to assess requirements and develop technical solutions.

5. Manage the deployment of network equipment, ensuring timely and efficient installation and configuration.

6. Perform network troubleshooting and performance tuning to resolve issues and enhance reliability.

7. Stay current on technology trends and actively participate in continuous learning and professional development.

8. Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and support staff.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in network design and implementation.

3. Proficient in network planning tools such as Ekahau and experience with hardware from Aruba, Cisco, and Meraki.

4. Strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and best practices.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues.

6. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

7. Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent are highly desirable.

8. Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
