Job Description:
As a Microsoft Security Engineer at a Microsoft Solution Partner, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions that leverage Microsoft technologies. Working closely with clients, you will be responsible for securing their Microsoft-based environments, and ensuring a high level of protection against cyber threats and vulnerabilities. This role involves a deep understanding of Microsoft security products and services, as well as the ability to tailor solutions to meet the unique needs of diverse clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, assess their security needs, and design tailored solutions using Microsoft technologies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights into the latest Microsoft security features and best practices.
Security Solution Design and Implementation:
- Design and implement security solutions that leverage Microsoft technologies, including but not limited to Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft 365 Security, and Azure Active Directory.
- Integrate security solutions into existing client environments, ensuring seamless operation and minimal disruption.
Identity and Access Management:
- Implement and configure identity and access management solutions, aligning them with client-specific requirements.
- Provide expertise in managing and securing identities across Microsoft platforms.
Threat Monitoring and Incident Response:
- Establish and manage proactive threat monitoring systems, leveraging Microsoft Defender tools.
- Develop and execute incident response plans, guiding clients through the resolution of security incidents.
Security Compliance and Audits:
- Assist clients in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations by implementing and enforcing security policies.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits, addressing any identified vulnerabilities or compliance gaps.
Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:
- Work closely with other teams within the organization, including sales, consulting, and support, to deliver holistic solutions to clients.
- Share knowledge and insights with colleagues to foster continuous learning and improvement.
Training and Documentation:
- Provide training sessions for client teams on Microsoft security technologies, ensuring effective use and management.
- Create comprehensive documentation for implemented solutions, including configuration details and best practices.
