About the Job

As an Associate Product Manager, focus on product execution, and will assist with strategy. Work with the Product Manager (who focuses on strategy) to make product vision into reality.

This is an entry to junior-level position where you’ll make an immediate, tangible impact every day. You will be part of a result-driven, detail-oriented, and organized team and will be responsible for building relationships and working with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.

What will your main responsibilities look like?

In this role, you will be led to:

  • Focus on product execution and assist in the planning of the full product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with customer pain points.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, CS, Implementation and Sales to ensure effective product development and delivery.
  • Conduct market research, review RFPs, and analyze customer feedback to identify product needs and opportunities.
  • Help define and prioritize features and requirements from internal and external stakeholders, balancing business goals with user experience.
  • Monitor product performance metrics, analyze data, and create reports to track progress against key objectives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the development of product strategies by contributing market insights, conducting competitor analysis, and user feedback.
  • Maintain the backlog, ensuring that tasks are prioritized based on value, scalability, urgency, and feasibility.
  • Maintain the product calendar and provide proactive updates to stakeholders on product progress, upcoming needs, and roadblocks.
  • Ensure that all product specifications, requirements, and updates are well documented, creating a reliable resource for internal teams and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Create product artifacts (feature specs, functional requirements, testing requirements, release notes, help guides).
  • Coordinate the feature launch, client communication and training process, including cross-departmental alignment, marketing efforts, and post-launch analysis.

  • You have experience in companies moving from start-up to scale-up where you have helped change a company’s product processes and have created efficiencies to improve the business.
  • You have an affinity for technology and understand how technology can improve efficiency, productivity and provide visibility in enterprise organizations or government.
  • You have an eye for good product design and improving workflows.
  • You are inquisitive, analytical, innovative, open-minded, thinks differently and ask questions.
  • You can create relationships and motivate cross-functional teams without having a formal managerial role.
  • You are comfortable with being the point person for product questions from the development, CS or sales teams.

What type of qualifications are we looking for in this role?

  • 2–5 years of experience in software Product Management (bonus points for B2B, B2G, or governmental-related experience).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage cross-functional processes and timelines.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to complete requirements analysis, functional design, and user workflows.
  • Strong individual contributor with high internal motivation and the ability to take initiative, set priorities and perform tasks with high quality.
  • Advanced knowledge of working in the product tech stack (i.e. Jira, Confluence, Mixpanel, Pendo, Miro, HotJar, Appcues, Google Analytics, Amplitude, GenAI tools, etc.) as well as Google and Microsoft Suites.
