Qualifications You'll Bring

Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification is required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient coding and auditing.
Strong knowledge of coding guidelines, including CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM.
Familiarity with CMS regulations and guidelines related to outpatient coding and billing.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze complex medical records.
Strong communication skills to effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations.
Proficient in using coding software.
Ability to maintain daily production requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive audits of outpatient medical records to ensure accurate coding and documentation.
Review and analyze medical records, claims, and other relevant documents to identify any discrepancies or errors.
Collaborate with the coding team to provide feedback and guidance on coding accuracy and compliance.
Stay up-to-date with coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills in CPC Outpatient Auditing as well as obtain CEUs required for annual licensure.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance coding accuracy and compliance.
Contribute to our humble pursuit of excellence by performing various responsibilities that may arise, reflecting our collective goal of enhancing healthcare delivery and being the difference for the customer.
