Qualifications You'll Bring

  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification is required.

  • Familiarity with CMS regulations and guidelines related to outpatient coding and billing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze complex medical records.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations.
  • Proficient in using coding software.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive audits of outpatient medical records to ensure accurate coding and documentation.
  • Review and analyze medical records, claims, and other relevant documents to identify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Collaborate with the coding team to provide feedback and guidance on coding accuracy and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills in CPC Outpatient Auditing as well as obtain CEUs required for annual licensure.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance coding accuracy and compliance.
  • Contribute to our humble pursuit of excellence by performing various responsibilities that may arise, reflecting our collective goal of enhancing healthcare delivery and being the difference for the customer.
