This role would focus on providing the structural drawings in collaboration with our architectural team in the development of a complete set of construction documents.
What You Will Do:
You will collect & prepare data/information, perform detailed engineering calculations, and write formal engineer/technical reports.
You will develop technical specifications & data sheets, performs technical evaluations and recommend best value design that meets the clients’ requirements for operability, reliability, maintainability & safety.
You will review structural designs, plans and reports as engineer-of-record in conformance with applicable regulations and scopes of services.
You will provide structural calculations and plan layout/design development.
You will serve as an Engineering Lead on complex, multi-discipline projects by estimating work hours, developing scope of work, making staffing recommendations and checking drawings.
What You Need to Succeed:
You have a Bachelor of Science in Structural or Civil Engineering. Ideally from an ABET accredited program.
You must have experience with residential stick build construction.
SE or PE license required, with the ability to maintain licensing.
You have 7+ years’ experience performing engineering analysis & design functions.
You have a strong knowledge of appropriate design codes (AISC, ACI, ASCE, IBC, OSHA, etc.)
You are flexible, able to adjust and change direction as the business & tech environments evolve & change.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. Most roles at Paradigm have three levels, Associate, Mid and Senior. Our pay ranges are inclusive of all three levels (if applicable), our US based Associate level pay begins at $80,000 annually for this role. The salary does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary and benefits. These compensation levels are subject to an annual review.
