Job description

Location: remote USA anywhere (New York metro preferred)

Reports to: Director, Retail (Shopper) Marketing

Travel: up to 25%

Liquid Death is looking for an experienced and results driven Shopper Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation, execution and management of impactful point-of-sale (POS) while also creating a ground up shopper marketing experience to enhance in-store presence and elevate consumer engagement. This role will also be responsible for working cross functionally with sales and brand marketing to create innovative display pieces, consumer sweepstakes and coupon strategies, while working with the Director of Retail Marketing to create a shopper marketing strategy that brings Liquid Death to life for shoppers and drives conversions at retail.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Order and manage the creation and execution of retail POS, temporary merchandise and permanent merchandise for on-premise, off-premise and events
  • Own the POS budget and POS portal management and make necessary updates to ensure effective ordering and timely delivery tactics
  • Responsible for ensuring Field Sales and distributors have the right display tools including paper POS, permanent POS, display pieces, and racks
  • Manage POS vendors and oversee the POS steering committee
  • Brief the Marketing team on retail tool designs and ensure internal and external deadlines are met
  • Create and manage sweepstakes and sweepstakes vendors
  • Create and manage coupons and coupon vendors
  • Assist Retail Marketing Director on custom retail programs
  • Assist the Retail Marketing Director in the development of the Small Format shopper marketing strategy
  • Lead all tier 2-3 Small Format programs and activations
  • Assist Retail Marketing Director in post-campaign recaps and evaluations

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or another related business field required
  • At least 4+ years of relatable experience in the CPG industry in a prior shopper, retail or field marketing role where reporting, analytics, budget management and cross functional communication were key responsibilities
  • Elite project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong proven track record working with large or small format partners (for understanding needs of retailers to then successfully build out strong strategic pillars of focus) required
  • Previous experience working in Circana, Spins, or IRI preferred
  • Experiential marketing and instore activation experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically as needed

The typical salary range for this position is: $80,000 - $98,000
