We are looking for a product marketer that is curious, a self-starter and ready to roll up their sleeves to make an impact on the Numerator business. As an Associate Product Marketing Manager, you will help grow Numerator's revenue by becoming a trusted partner of product management, sales, marketing and services teams through your knowledge of our products, deep customer/prospect understanding, and ability to distill crisp value-oriented stories from complex information.
As Associate Product Marketing Manager, you will help grow Numerator revenue by providing:
Customers with clear, compelling information on products
Sales with the required positioning, training, sales tools and customer tools
Marketing with information on our products and product-related materials to support our integrated marketing plans
Product teams with partnership on developing product positioning, communications and program materials
What You’ll Do:
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to help develop and execute the go-to-market strategies for new products and product enhancements
Develop product messaging that differentiates new products from others in the market
Create product content such as case studies, videos, website copy, social ads, and blog posts
Communicate the value of new products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process
Brief other marketing teams on product development and new products
Own existing customer communication (e.g., for new features/functions, sunsetting, etc.) and partner with customer success on training as needed
Do primary research on competitor messaging and work with product management to understand competitive product and service offerings, acting as needed
Speak and present about products to external and internal audiences as required
Manage sales enablement platform to maximize discoverability and usage of sales collateral
Manage external product perception e.g., in product review forums (G2Crowd)
Collaborate with the marketing team to plan industry events and product roadshows
What You'll Bring to Numerator
Collaborative skills: As an associate product marketing manager, you will be a key partner across stakeholders in sales, product and marketing. You will have to work with these teams across the organization to drive internal alignment and successful go to market launch plans for product enhancement and new product launches.
Communication skills: Both speaking and writing abilities have to be tapped in this role. You will have to present or co-present internally about new products, as well as write engaging copy to tell the ‘story’ of products across various marketing channels.
Proactive nature: Working in a fast paced environment, the associate product marketing manager will have a proactive and curious approach to the products they oversee. Identifying, validating, and surfacing new opportunities or considerations to grow their products.
Research skills: A crucial part of being an associate product marketing manager is gaining insight into customer needs and experiences. Analysis of data, surveys and customer interviews will be part of this mix and you need to be well acquainted with these techniques.
