Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control (QC) Inspector to ensure the highest quality standards in our herbs production. The QC Inspector will monitor, inspect, and maintain the quality of fresh and dried herbs throughout harvesting, processing, and packaging to meet company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect harvested herbs for quality, freshness, and compliance with standards.
- Monitor production processes to ensure hygiene and food safety regulations are followed.
- Conduct routine sampling and testing for contaminants, moisture levels, and overall herb quality.
- Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, or issues in processing and packaging.
- Maintain accurate records of quality inspections and report findings to supervisors.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of herbs to prevent damage or contamination.
- Work closely with farm workers and production teams to implement quality improvements.
- Assist in audits and compliance checks for certifications such as GAP, HACCP, or organic standards.
- Train farm employees on best practices for hygiene, quality, and safety.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in quality control, agriculture, food production, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, ISO, or organic certification) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in an outdoor farm environment and perform physical tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
