Scope
Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM Lane Cove, NSW time with 1 hour unpaid lunch break
Manage financial operations for seven distinct business entities
Potential for expanded responsibilities including payroll and more extensive cash flow forecasting
Opportunity to grow with a continuously expanding business portfolio
Responsibilities
Manage and organize the accounts email inbox for multiple business entities
Process and allocate approximately 20 invoices per week across seven distinct businesses
Upload and categorize invoices in Xero, ensuring accurate entity assignment
Maintain and update creditors list for each business entity
Perform thorough bank reconciliations for various business accounts
Assist with cash flow management and forecasting
Potentially manage payroll processing on a fortnightly basis
Collaborate with management on financial reporting and analysis
Ensure compliance with Australian GST rules and regulations
Requirements
Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably with multiple business entities
Proficiency in Xero accounting software
Strong understanding of Australian GST rules and regulations
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
Familiarity with payroll processing in an Australian context is highly desirable
Adaptability and willingness to learn in a dynamic business environment
