Reporting to the Senior HR Compliance Manager, the HR Compliance Analyst applies specialized knowledge and expertise to support various HR compliance functions. Key responsibilities include managing compliance programs, overseeing government and agency reporting (e.g., EEO-1, BLS, Pay Data Reporting), processing HR purchase orders and vendor billing, tracking legislative updates, and analyzing compliance trends.
This role is responsible for processing, reviewing, and approving HR-related billing, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting audits and impact assessments, and filing required reports. Additionally, the Analyst handles associate relations regulatory reporting, responds to Help Case tickets, and contributes to compliance-related initiatives.
As an HR Compliance Analyst, this position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with HR regulations across benefits, compensation, and employment practices. The HR Compliance Analyst also supports HR leadership by developing presentations that leverage Inmar's people data—creating visual insights through charts and graphs to highlight organizational trends. Occasionally, this role may lead HR projects as needed.
Primary Accountabilities:
Analytical (50%)
- Gather reports required for internal and external audits and conduct routine compliance audits, recommending risk mitigation strategies.
- Assemble documentation to support budget calculations, enhance program effectiveness, and ensure cost control.
- Utilize data analytics tools (Google Data Studio, Google Sheets, Excel, Monday.com, PowerPoint, Workday Dashboard) to analyze workforce data and generate insights.
- Identify and assess business problems, recommending and implementing procedures and solutions to improve HR processes.
- Drive automation efforts and process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Research and analyze HR policies, procedures, and client requests to support decision-making.
- Create statistical reports and data visualizations for management insights.
- Extract reports from HRIS and HR software to generate graphs and charts for presentations.
- Collaborate with the HR Compliance Manager and Senior Manager on legislative updates and compliance projects.
Administrative (30%)
- Develop, maintain, and produce reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) for HR compliance and business needs.
- Maintain and oversee HR Compliance dashboards, repositories, and records to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance.
- Manage and respond to HR Compliance, Immigration, and I-9 email inquiries.
- Assist with processing pre-employment activities (e.g., background checks, drug testing, credit checks) and Help cases.
- Prepare and submit government and agency filings related to HR compliance.
- Support HR projects and various compliance initiatives as assigned.
- Support compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to employment laws (e.g., wage and hour, FMLA, HIPAA, Title VII, ERISA).
- Coordinate the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the department.
- Ensure the distribution of required employee notices and assist in preparing communications on compliance updates.
Compliance and Process Optimization (20%)
- Ensure compliance programs and plans adhere to federal, state, and local laws by identifying emerging risks and gaps.
- Maintain and update HR project management tools.
- Conduct routine HR Compliance audits and recommend risk mitigation strategies when necessary.
- Implement and monitor automation efforts to improve compliance processes and reporting efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years in HR compliance, HR analytics, or a related field, with a strong understanding of employment law, regulatory requirements, and HR best practices. Equivalent combinations of experience, education, and training will be considered.
- Proven experience in HR compliance, preferably in a reporting or analyst role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze complex HR data.
- Proficient in using HR information systems and reporting tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge and understanding of Affirmative Action, EEOC. Workers’ Compensation, and other additional industry and regulatory processes.
- SHRM-CP preferred
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR)-HRCI preferred
