As we continue to expand our client portfolio, we are seeking a results-driven and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team in a contract or contract to hire role.  


Position Overview  


As a Client Partner at Walker Bowen Talent Partners, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and delivering staffing solutions that align with our clients' needs. Your in-depth knowledge of the IT/Technical staffing industry, combined with your proven track record in business development and account management, will contribute to our ongoing success in connecting top talent with leading organizations.  


Key Responsibilities  
  • Identify and target potential clients within the IT/Technical industry for permanent staffing solutions and fractional / RPO recruitment 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, C-level executives, and hiring managers at client companies 
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets 
  • Collaborate with internal recruitment teams to ensure a thorough understanding of client requirements and job specifications 
  • Present tailored staffing solutions to clients, showcasing the value and benefits of partnering with Walker Bowen Talent Partners 
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand client pain points and provide tailored staffing solutions 
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape 
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis 


Requirements

Qualifications 

  • Preferred but not required - completed Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology, HR or a related field
  • 5+ years' experience in business development and account management within the staffing and recruiting industry 
  • Proven record of sales growth in staffing industry
  • Current portfolio in IT/Technical staffing with a comprehensive understanding of technical roles and skill sets 
  • Demonstrated success in establishing and nurturing client relationships, resulting in increased profitability year over year 
  • Exceptional communication (listening, verbal, and written), negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills 
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a strong work ethic 
  • Prioritizes strong customer service skills  
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with internal drive and high sense of urgency to achieve success 
  • Ability to work through adversity and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
  • Ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities 
  • Proficiency in ATS/CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
