Job Description:

   

We are seeking a Sales Execution Lead - NA Sales Industry Verticals. With anticipated FY25 revenue near $7B, the NA Sales Industry Verticals business is built on several industry verticals focused on similar growth patterns with a focus on AI, Cloud and HPE Intellectual Property products and solutions selling across all products and services. This role will be responsible for executing strategy and overseeing the operations, actions, and allocation of investment to deliver on customer solution selling, innovation and attainment. They will uphold the organization’s culture by aligning teams around the common mission and vision, streamline and enhance efficiency , and act as a trusted advisor to shape and execute priorities.


The Sales Execution Lead/ Program Manager role will:

  • Quickly develop an in-depth understanding of HPE’s NA Sales Industry Verticals (IV) business 
  • Build a trust-advisory relationship with the business leadership team, ranging from Director to SVP
  • Orchestrate and operationalize the IV agenda and sales culture to maximize impact within team and organizational goals
  • Ensure staff and broader organizational teams are executing on business unit priorities and organizational goals
  • Plan and lead forums and critical executive meetings
  • Oversee VP’s calendar and organizational budget, HR tasks, and internal/external communication
  • Plan and lead leadership staff meetings, ATMs, and communications
  • Sponsor continuous improvement initiatives including survey feedback, cross-BU collaboration efforts, and engagement activities
  • Assist with budget tracking and adjustment planning with Finance
  • Act as VP proxy or lead on special projects, as needed in alignment with NA BU and strategy teams
  • Travel ~ 25%


Qualifications / Candidate Profile 

  • MBA or advanced university degree desired. Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • 10+ years total experience. Preferred background in Sales, Strategy, Business Operations, or Planning leadership roles. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships at the senior executive level with strong communication and influence
  • Operational background and demonstrated success in leading complex cross-functional initiatives with minimal direction
  • Strong understanding of the broader technology landscape
  • Passion for catalyzing and driving change
  • Ability to articulate & convey important messages in a clear and compelling manner
  • Flexibility to address competing demands across various time zones (7am-7pm PT).
  • Preferred: ability to speak French

  • P&L Management: Sets and manages the business investments and resource allocations essential to ensuring the financial growth & health of the corporation.
  • Vertical Industry Acumen: Develops and exercises a profound understanding of business dynamics within area of control, as a basis for informed business decision making.
  • Workforce Planning: Builds acquisition and development strategies targeted to ensuring workforce readiness, and market opportunity responsiveness.
  • Execution Management: Collaborates effectively with the company's BUs and value chain partners to ensure operational responsiveness to challenges, and alignment with business imperatives
  • C-Level Partnering: Contributes to enduring executive relationships that establish the company's consultative professionalism and promotes its total solution capabilities at the highest levels of an organization.
  • Business and Financial Acumen: Exhibits authoritative business and financial acumen o develop meaningful business recommendations. Understands the portfolio aspect of the company's products/services and how the businesses work together.
  • Change Management: Develops methods for supporting innovation and change across the organization.
  • Problem Solving: Approaches problems in a rational manner using sound strategies that ensures comprehensive understanding and effective resolution.
  • Leadership: Able to lead effectively in a complex and political environment and deliver results; Able to influence without direct authority; Able to balance between competing priorities and be flexible and creative; Able to drive team performance to world class; Able to create and build highly effective teams and organizations; Able to communicate effectively across multiple levels in the company and the industry.
