Role Description

PaySupp is seeking an Infrastructure/Systems Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time hybrid role, located in Cairo, Egypt with flexibility for remote work. The Infrastructure/Systems Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and designing hardware and software computer systems and networks, performing system and network troubleshooting, delivering periodic maintenance activities, and making sure all Software and Hardware Components are tailored to ensure safety to all company's data.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and implement IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, and storage solutions.
Administer virtualization platforms and cloud services, ensuring scalability and cost-efficiency.
Monitor and maintain server performance, network traffic, and storage resources for optimal operation.
Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other threats.
Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and troubleshoot technical issues.
Automate routine tasks and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology;
Demonstrable experience (2+ years) in System or Infrastructure Engineering;
Thorough knowledge of the following technologies: Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Windows Server, Linux Ubuntu, Active Directory, Firewalls, LAN/WAN, and TCP/IP;
Experience with virtualization such as Hyper-V and VMware;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to explain and document technical information effectively;
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
Strong ability to critically assess and prioritize tasks, and to manage time effectively;
Experience with Cloud services, VOIP technologies, and Wireless Network are a plus;
Strong understanding of networking protocols, security best practices, and compliance standards.
Certifications such as MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc., are a plus.
