About Freestar

Freestar helps publishers, e-commerce sites, and app developers maximize ad revenue. It combats the complexity by taking ad operations off their plates. It leverages industry-leading expertise and innovative technology, like header bidding, to produce real results, which leaves publishers with more time to do what they do best: create content.

Senior Product Manager

Freestar seeks a results-driven Senior Product Manager to lead our Ad Tech strategy and execution. In this impactful role, you will own the product roadmap, collaborating with Sales, Yield, Demand, and Publisher Support to deliver customer-focused solutions that yield measurable results. Reporting to the Director of Product, you’ll shape our Ad Tech platform to meet evolving client and industry needs.
Responsibilities
  • Define the Ad Tech product roadmap and strategy, prioritizing features and initiatives based on customer needs and business goals.
  • Effectively balance multiple priorities, knowing when to deep dive and when to delegate or escalate appropriately, with the ability to focus energy on the highest-impact projects and initiatives.
  • Strong collaborator who welcomes feedback, communicates transparently, and supports decisions that align with the broader business strategy.
  • Proven ability to share knowledge proactively, empowering team members and ensuring information flows smoothly without becoming a bottleneck.
  • Manage integrations with ad exchanges, demand-side platforms (DSPs), supply-side platforms (SSPs), and data providers.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Yield, and Publisher Support, to identify opportunities for innovation and new product development to give Freestar a competitive advantage and drive growth.
  • Collect and analyze requirements and feedback from partners, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products.
  • Use a data-driven approach to scope releases, gather and document requirements, and prioritize projects in a fast-paced Agile environment.
  • Produce and review product requirements documents (PRD) and ensure they align with the overall product vision and strategy.
  • Manage the Product Lifecycle (PLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) via Jira, identifying and communicating dependencies and blockers between the AdOps teams and other Engineering teams.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to measure product success, improve targeting capabilities, and refine ad delivery mechanisms.
  • Ensure products comply with industry regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and evolving privacy-first advertising frameworks.
  • Collaborate with the documentation writing team to create clear and concise documentation.
