Job Description

The Manager of Digital Analytics will lead a team of Digital Analysts in providing proactive, timely analytic insights to positively impact digital user experiences and achieve digital revenue goals for individual campaigns and programs, as well as for the enterprise’s overall digital performance. This includes managing efforts to provide both day-to-day insights and big-picture analysis to help optimize performance across ALSAC/St. Jude’s digital marketing channels, e-commerce funnels, web properties, and mobile applications. The role involves working in partnership with Digital Product, UX/Design, and Digital Marketing teams while also providing data and insights to aid in the evaluation of traditional marketing drive-to-web efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the monitoring, gathering, analyzing, and reporting of all metrics related to digital/mobile programs, including revenue, reach, personalization, and engagement for the entire ALSAC/St. Jude portfolio of web properties, mobile applications, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Provide leadership in understanding donor behavior and measuring the ROI of digital marketing and strategic initiatives.
  • Enable and evangelize data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Develop recommendations for new strategies to reach, engage, and convert key audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics) and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is mandatory.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify issues and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Hands-on experience in digital analytics and/or digital/e-commerce marketing planning, execution, and reporting on a national level.
  • Multi-channel marketing/analytics experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools such as Omniture, Google Analytics (360), Adobe Analytics, and/or Coremetrics, tag management, and dashboard reporting tools like Tableau.
  • Experience with campaign management tools like Adobe Media Optimizer, DMP platforms, and knowledge of SEO.
  • Demonstrated experience using tools to drive business decisions and understanding the underlying technology (tagging structure, campaign setup, and functional capabilities).
  • Experience supporting digital marketing and UX test plans, monitoring, measuring, adjusting, and making recommendations based on test execution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, VISIO, Access, and Excel (advanced mastery of Excel preferred).
  • Business Intelligence experience using data warehouse tools such as Business Objects preferred. Experience building data queries in SQL is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including writing/editing and graphing charts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with rapidly changing technology.
  • Willingness to adapt to new software, technology, and marketing techniques quickly.
  • Experience or ability to assist with developing and providing regular training on analytics best practices, metrics, and business application of analytics and tools to a broad range of basic to intermediate web analytics users.
