Overview:

Summary
The Employee Engagement Intern will support the Sr. Director, Culture & Values in creating an award-winning culture at C1. This role will focus on enhancing team member engagement, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting initiatives that align with the company’s values of being human, being bold, and being one. The intern will contribute to programs that promote trust, respect, innovation, and collaboration within the company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in corporate culture and employee engagement within a dynamic and growing organization.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

 

Be Human

  • Assist with team member listening initiatives, including surveys and feedback collection.
  • Help support the development and implementation of culture and engagement strategies.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving team member experience and reducing turnover.
  • Collaborate with team members across the company to provide support for culture-related projects.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to promote diversity and inclusion within the organization.

Be Bold

  • Support the development of programs designed to enhance team member engagement and overall company culture.
  • Assist in creating and promoting innovative initiatives that drive team member satisfaction and performance.

Be One

  • Work with Team Resource Groups to assist in engagement and retention efforts.
  • Support partnerships with external organizations to promote diversity and community engagement.
  • Help create and share internal communications related to engagement and inclusion efforts.
  • Contribute to data collection and analysis from listening forums like Pulse Surveys and eNPS.
  • Stay informed about industry trends related to employee engagement, culture, and diversity.
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for company culture, employee engagement, and diversity initiatives
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Basic understanding of diversity, inclusion, and engagement best practices
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic office tools

 

Desired/Preferred Qualifications
• Previous internship or volunteer experience in HR, culture, or engagement-related projects
