Job description

This is a remote position.

A tech software solutions company requires a smart, reliable and organised individual to serve as half-day Business Administrator and Executive Assistant. This role requires a tech-savvy, self-starter who can be part of a remote team, handle administrative tasks efficiently, and provide support to the CEO 4 hours per day Monday to Friday, which may grow as the role develops. 


Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Oversee administrative functions for the company (10 employees)

  • Act as a point of contact for the CEO, managing their schedule, correspondence, and travel arrangements

  • Handle simple account queries (e.g. statements, etc)

  • Maintain and organise company data (using Monday.com)

  • Manage and coordinate team meetings and events

  • Handle basic bookkeeping tasks such as capturing company expenses

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the remote team



Requirements
  • Smart, quick learner, and tech-savvy

  • Experience in administration and executive support

  • Able to write and respond to emails in a professional manner

  • Proficiency in cloud accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong organisational and time management skills and temperament

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and proactively

  • Formal Business Administration qualification is advantageous but not required

  • Experience in managing remote teams and basic bookkeeping is advantageous

  • Suitable home office set up required



Benefits

Remote

Half-day hours (8 am - 12 pm or 9 am - 1 pm) with potential for growth over time.




Salary:

R25 000 - R30 000
