Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

Contract: Independent Contractor
Scope:
  • Remote work arrangement, collaborating with the Houston-based accounting team
  • Handle financial data related to real estate investments and private equity portfolios
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate financial records for diverse business lines
  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Central with an hour unpaid break

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry tasks using NetSuite and RAM Manager software
  • Conduct thorough account reconciliations and validations
  • Assist with administrative tasks within the accounting department
  • Support the maintenance of financial records for real estate investments and private equity portfolios
  • Collaborate with the Houston-based team to streamline accounting processes

Requirements
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles with enthusiasm to learn more
  • Strong proficiency in data entry with keen attention to detail
  • Familiarity with or eagerness to quickly learn NetSuite and RAM Manager
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining close collaboration
