Description

 We are seeking a Sales Operations Manager. This role will report directly to the Japan Country Manager, and support the business processes needed to scale the Deep Instinct business. The role will partner with Japan Sales Leadership and will also work cross functionally with Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, Legal and HR to support the overall needs of the Deep Instinct selling model in the APJ region. A successful candidate will have hands on experience in running go to market processes and tools to enable sales growth, assisting selling teams with policy and process adherence, and acting as a trusted partner/advisor to sales leadership to help optimize sales execution.



Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:

  • Act as a trusted advisor and business partner to Sales leaders, while working cross-functionally with finance, legal, marketing, customer success, and enablement to support a smooth selling motion.
  • Assist in driving strategy and implementation of operational process improvements within GEO, both independently and as part of global sales operations team.
  • Help to drive discipline and accuracy around sales qualification, CRM data entry, and pipeline management to support forecasting on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis.
  • Assist with day-to-day activities supported by Sales Operations – quoting, contract execution, monitor and support the renewal process, SFDC data quality, order processing, territory assignments, etc.        
  • Solicit feedback through daily interactions with the sales field to understand business challenges of the sales organization for project prioritization.
  • Be a thought leader and go-to expert on resources and tools, and troubleshoot any related issues raised by for the sales field.
  • Partner with Marketing to assist with pipeline generation by filtering hot leads and arranging meeting appointments.
  • Analyze key insights from forecasts, key business drivers, trends, and operating metrics. Translate data into insights and action.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership in driving the business cadence inclusive of the forecast process, pipeline reviews, deal reviews and quarterly business review process.
  • Work directly with key sales leaders on critical strategic, organizational, and operational projects designed to increase revenue, sales productivity, and operational efficiency within associated geography.
  • Assist with the Annual Operating Plan process inclusive of organizational design, territory design, and system setup.



Requirements

5+ years experience in working with technology companies, including :

  • Extensive process understanding and experience with Salesforce.com CRM
  • Cross functional collaboration skills – working with Finance, Legal, Marketing, HR, Sales
  • Disciplined and accountable. Gets quality work done on time
  • Team player, team focused, high integrity
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong persuasive skills and ability to influence decision makers
  • Student of the sales game, latest and greatest, and most effective tools to support selling
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with a successful track record of implementing process
