You have driven sponsorships at 3^rd party industry events as well as supported proprietary internal, marketing, and educational events. This individual contributor position will play a role in advancing Illumio’s corporate message and culture as well as advance internal and external Illumio knowledge. While this position is focused on executing our presence at global industry events, it’s a rare opportunity to join an exciting team that touches multiple mediums and program types.

This role will report to Illumio’s Director, Global Event Management & Strategy. The events team is lean, and we are looking for individuals who are self-starters, ambitious, creative, and ready to make an impact.

Your Impact: 

• Drive Illumio sponsorships at 3^rd party events from contract through post-event analysis, including coordinating sponsored speaking sessions, booth planning, SWAG, on-site staffing and housing, and associated ancillary programs at select programs
• Support event planning for internal and external proprietary programming
• Create and manage event project timelines
• Manage work streams to support event execution and facilitate reoccurring meetings to drive project plan and timeline
• Work with the Brand team to apply the company brand, look, and feel to all GEMS programs
• Ensures that themes and messages are applied appropriately and consistently
• Work with the Comms team on pre, mid, and post event messaging as appropriate
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders, including other marketing groups, sales, partner team, etc. to ensure consistency of message and theme is woven into the events
• Adhere to event budgets and communicate with key stakeholders
• Close out each event program with timely surveys, reporting, final messaging & measurement

Your Toolkit:

• Eight (8) or more years' experience with events, trade shows, and/or conferences
• Strategic thinker with strong project management skills
• Proven track record of fostering cross functional collaboration
• Effective communicator, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented with an ability to juggle multiple projects
• Ability to work under pressure and face challenges with ease
• Enthusiastic and self-starting
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to flex as needed
• Ability to manage budgets, including tracking spend with multiple vendors
• Experience with contracts, negotiations, and requirements from suppliers (hotels, vendors, etc.)
• Ability to travel to events, domestically and internationally, as needed

Compensation:

$139,000USD - $167,000 USD

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal equity, alignment with market data, or applicable laws.
