PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Vice President Finance & Growth is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the Finance, Growth and Risk functions within a high-growth software company. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of SaaS metrics, capital planning and management strategies, revenue optimization, and software industry-specific financial considerations. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and CFO to drive financial performance, ensure scalable growth, and support strategic decision-making. Additionally, the role will serve as a bridge between finance and the Sales growth functions, presenting to business leaders and executive leadership on key performance metrics impacting the broader organization.

What You Will Do:
  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership for the Finance, Growth & Risk functions, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of SaaS metrics.
  • Segment Support: Collaborate with the revenue, product, corporate development, and finance functions to develop structures to optimize capital allocation, pricing strategies, and revenue models, including expansion into new market segments.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards, including compliance and revenue recognition guidelines.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends in key SaaS metrics, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of strategic revenue initiatives including ARR growth strategies, pricing optimization, and market expansion plans. Drive the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) focusing on customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, net revenue retention, and other critical SaaS metrics to accelerate growth and profitability.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial results and strategic plans to internal and external stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and analysts.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor within a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

  • What You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA, CFA, or other advanced finance qualifications preferred.
  • 10+ years' experience in a senior financial leadership role within the software/SaaS industry.
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS business models, revenue metrics, growth strategies, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to craft narratives that connect financial performance to strategic goals, ensuring clarity and impact.
  • Adept at communicating financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering alignment and understanding.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing revenue growth strategies; deep understanding of current SaaS market dynamics.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills; proficiency in financial modeling and SaaS metrics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and guide and mentor teams through thought leadership and support.
