Systems Support Specialist (Bilingual)
Location: Based in Markham, with full time remote available
Languages: Must be fluent in French and English (spoken and written)

Join our team as a Systems Support Specialist, where you’ll deliver top-notch technical support and customer solutions. This role, tied to our Markham office but open to remote work, blends hands-on technical expertise with customer engagement. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues, uphold QMS policies supporting our ISO 13485 Medical Device Certification, and play a key role in onboarding new clients while assisting sales and existing customers.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll split your talents between technical support and training:

Systems Support Specialist

• Troubleshoot technical inquiries and resolve issues with the support team

• Maintain Relational Databases across Canadian sites

• Track and resolve reported issues, ensuring no SLA breaches

• Support sales with technical insights

• Identify software bugs and liaise with developers for fixes

• Draft requirements and assist with system testing

• Manage the ticket system and knowledgebase

• Document meetings and update customer materials

• Translate documents between English and French

• Stay available for on-call duties (pager required)

• Drive automation and process improvements

• Adapt to new challenges as they arise

What You Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or similar (preferred but not required)

• Experience: 5+ years in technical support or systems roles

• Skills:

  • Ability to operate within a Red Hat Enterprise Linux command line environment

  • A keen eye for detail and strong multitasking ability

  • Stellar communication and teamwork skills

  • Reliable under pressure, including on-call shifts

  • Clinical software experience (a bonus)

  • Flexibility for occasional evening/weekend work

Work Environment

You’ll work on remote servers and systems using company gear, either from our Markham office or remotely (with approval). Expect occasional overtime for key projects.
