We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager, Pricing & Packaging Strategy. This is a new role on the team that  will be responsible for developing and leading the pricing and packaging strategies for multiple lines of business, including Stack Overflow for Teams, OverflowAPI, and Stack Overflow Advertising. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive pricing and packaging strategies across multiple product lines to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Analyze and monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform pricing and packaging decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Deal Desk, Finance, Product, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Executive teams to ensure cohesive strategy execution. 
  • Work closely with Product Management to align product features and capabilities with pricing and packaging strategies. 
  • Conduct pricing experiments and assess outcomes to continually refine and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Develop and present pricing models and business cases to support strategic decisions.
  • Communicate pricing and packaging strategies effectively to various stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment. Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal teams to educate them on pricing and packaging updates and strategies.
  • Partner with Finance to evaluate the financial impact of pricing strategies and provide recommendations for adjustments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or consulting/corporate strategy within the technology industry with at least 3-5 years of experience leading the pricing and packaging and product monetization strategy across multiple lines of business. 
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful pricing and packaging strategies for SaaS and API products. Experience with AI products is strongly preferred. 
  • Deep knowledge of industry best practices and trends related to pricing and packaging.
  • Demonstrated experience in working cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders, including Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Product, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Executive teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. #LI-Remote  #LI-KS1
