Senior DevOps Engineer

POSITION OVERVIEW

Fidelity National Financial (FNF) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Digital Innovation team to facilitate our Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, with a strong focus on Azure DevOps and/or GitHub. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure resources, authentication patterns, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our build and deployment processes, troubleshooting issues, and continuously improving our DevOps practices.

LOCATION

• This role can sit at our HQ in Jacksonville, FL or 100% remote.
• Some travel may be required as needed.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
• Ensure seamless integration and deployment processes across various environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize build and deployment workflows.
• Drive innovation by exploring and incorporating new Generative AI technologies and methodologies into the pipeline development processes.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of IaC using Terraform.
• Implement and manage Azure resources, ensuring best practices and security standards are followed.
• Analyze tasks, reach decisions, and implement solutions promptly.
• Challenge assumptions and strive for continuous improvement in DevOps practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our DevOps processes.
• Provide hands-on support for build and deployment troubleshooting.
• Identify and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and application deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve technical challenges.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field or related work experience.
• Requires 5-8 years of DevOps or related experience.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.
• Proficiency in YAML pipelines and/or GitHub Action workflows.
• Deep understanding of Azure resources and authentication patterns, such as managed identity.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex build and deployment issues.
• Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with development, operations, and offshore teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of Terraform/Ansible and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
