Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager / Business Analyst with a strong background in project management and business analysis to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders from the USA/CA/UK/EU markets to develop cost-effective and impactful software solutions in the education domain, ensuring alignment with their objectives and strategic goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, fostering strong communication and collaboration;
  • Elicit, analyse, and refine business and technical requirements for project success;
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, release roadmaps, and prioritise tasks based on business goals and needs;
  • Resolve customer queries and product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint:
    • determining the cause of the problem,

    • selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem,

    • expediting correction or adjustment,

    • following up to ensure resolution;

  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Manage team workload and coordinate internal resources for optimal project delivery;
  • Plan, monitor, and adjust project activities as needed for successful execution;
  • Lead and guide team activities within an agile framework;
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring deadlines, costs, and quality are met.


Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1.5 years of experience in a relevant position;
  • Demonstrated ability to perform market and competitor analysis, requirement analysis, road-mapping, and feature prioritisation;
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze business needs and propose effective solutions;
  • A deep understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches;
  • Proficiency in using project management tools like Jira & Confluence;
  • Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI-driven assistants to facilitate and improve project management activities, such as task automation, documentation enhancement, and decision support;
  • Exceptional communication (both spoken and written), negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
  • Fluent written and spoken English (Advanced level) is a must.
