Job description

The Finance & Accounting Program Management Director drives understanding, clarity, efficiency, process, and accountability across the CFO organization. You will play a crucial role within the Finance and Accounting team, reporting to the Senior Vice President, Finance. As an individual contributor, you will focus on project management, ensuring the execution of key finance projects, optimizing financial processes, and aligning strategic priorities across Included Health.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and drive broad prioritization of finance and accounting organization projects. 
  • Lead strategic initiatives, ensuring understanding of overall goals and timelines.
  • Oversee the finance and accounting project portfolio, ensuring all projects are scoped, resourced, and executed according to plan.
  • Assess and select appropriate tools for us that promote automation and streamlining of tasks and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement by documenting & reviewing process workflows, implementing and implementing process improvements.
  • Lead any special projects that span multiple teams across Finance and Accounting and other departments (i.e. annual budgeting, staffing forecasting, contracting lifecycle management, etc.)
  • Support shaping and leading the financial strategy, ensuring agreement on organizational priorities and driving initiatives that support sustainable growth and operational excellence.

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in finance, with at least 6+ years in a project management or operations-focused role.
  • Experience moving projects from ideation into defined requirements into execution and communications is critical
  • Experience implementing financial software
  • Experience with building process automation
  • Create new solutions that can be maintained by finance professionals with a range of experiences and expertise while ensuring financial controls and documentation are created
  • Strong depth of knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
  • Experience with data warehousing solutions and the ability to handle large sets of data
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
  • Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location.
  • Capability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
  • Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
  • No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs of force (e.g., lifting a computer / laptop) may be required.
  • Capability to work with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.
  • Travel, as needed.
  • The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:
    Zone A: $149,450 - 211,100+ equity + benefits
    Zone B: $164,395 - 232,210 + equity + benefits
    Zone C: $179,340 - 253,320 + equity + benefits
    Zone D: $194,285 - 274,430 + equity + benefits

    Starting base salary for you will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include education; training; skills; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; our needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and understanding of geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and great compensation package based on their roles and locations.
