Job Title: MMK01G-Marketing Coordinator 
 

Brief Description: The Marketing Coordinator will assist with marketing strategy and will be responsible for communications planning and implementation for designated enterprise and segment-specific campaigns. Day-to-day, the Marketing Coordinator will liaise with internal stakeholders to inform campaign development outlining goals and objectives, target audience, channel mix, and measures of success, and solicit input for content development for campaign assets and sales enablement tools. This individual will be involved in various brand, marketing, and communication projects, responsible for maintaining content repository and publishing content to UBC’s owned channels including internal communications, website CMS, and CRM platforms.

This individual will further support the planning and administration of special projects associated with demand generation including events and conferences, social media, and sales campaign support. 

Provide effective planning, delivery, and measurement of multiple, simultaneous campaigns and projects incorporating various marketing channels and systems. This includes having a comprehensive knowledge about how marketing channels and tactics apply to awareness, consideration, and decision stages to make informed recommendations that meet campaign goals and objectives.

Specific job duties:

  • Quickly acclimate to our organization’s service model, market position, brand strategy, competitive landscape, clients, etc. 
  • Stay abreast of current industry trends to inform ongoing campaign delivery and performance
  • Oversee timely development and delivery of campaigns and programs efficiently and effectively
  • Ensure all campaign deliverables, marketing assets, and sales enablement tools align to visual identity and are within brand voice
  • Liaise with internal creative team and agency partners to coordinate and deliver effective marketing assets

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration required
  • 2 - 4 years of experience of relevant marketing experience, or marketing-related functional responsibilities
  • Experience within the healthcare or life science industries (B2B or B2C) a plus
  • Knowledge of digital and non-digital marketing channels and tactics
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Smartsheet), digital asset management, marketing automation, and customer relationships management (CRM – e.g., Salesforce) platforms a plus
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to manage deliverables, timelines, and owners, associated with multiple campaigns and programs, to facilitate on-time, on-budget deliverables
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills
  • Adept at excelling in fast-paced, entrepreneurial atmosphere, with multiple active work streams 
  • Occasional travel may be required
